About the Event

An international online experience between Brazilian and Chinese innovation ecosystems in a 3-days event focusing on connecting top startups from Brazil with Chinese Investors as a selective stage for important global opportunities such as the University Startup World Cup 2020 and Internet+.

The event will be placed online and in full in English. During September 23rd, 24th and 25th, up to 20 startups, organized by sectors of Greentech, Healthtech and Smart City, will be able to showcase themselves to a jury of distinguished Chinese investors in a completely interconnected business environment gifted with spectacular lectures and unmissable debates with noted Brazilian and Chinese guests.

The top 5 startups selected by the jury at the China-Brazil Innovation Week, will join as finalists of the University Startup World Cup, an international innovation and entrepreneurship event initiated by the Nordic non-profit organization Venture Cup Denmark, that assembles the top worldwide innovative ideas in a global event aiming to build an international network of innovation and entrepreneurship, which prizes USD15.000 for the overall winner of the competition.

In addition, the top 5 best and most innovative ideas of the China-Brazil Innovation Week will receive mentoring on how to do business in China by Flavio Pripas and Daniel Lau, also will receive Chinese business insights, tools, feedback and matchmaking with Chinese investors focused on cross-disciplinary innovation and also localization support and VC Fund in China. The top 2 startups will also be qualified for the final of the Internet+, a major digital economy trade show placed in China.

How do you apply?

First your startup must fit in one of the three desired sectors:

Then you must record a pitch in English. Focus on answering why you should be the one selected to take part of the China-Brazil 2020 Innovation Week.

After recording the video, upload it, and then fill our registration form (instructions below).

On September 15th we will announce the chosen startups and release more information about next steps.
