Abstracts can be submitted in English, Spanish or Portuguese. In the submission, the author must inform the language he/she would present the final work at the conference. To enhance their reach, we recommend that papers are preferably written and presented in English.
The abstract submission deadline is March 20th, 2024. At least one author of an accepted abstract must pay the registration fee and attend the conference to present the paper. The corresponding author who submits the abstract must provide full contact details - postal address, telephone, e-mail, etc. Authors will be notified by April 1st, 2024 of the acceptance of their paper for presentation.
While multiple submissions by individuals or groups of authors are welcome, the abstract selection process will seek to ensure as broad participation as possible: each author may present only one paper in the conference. No author should submit more than one abstract as its single author. If multiple submissions are accepted, then a different author will be required to pay the registration fee and present each paper. Otherwise, authors will be contacted and asked to drop one or more paper(s) for presentation.
Poster sessions:
In addition to presentations in concurrent sessions, the conference will also accept poster presentations. The submission of works for poster presentation is subject to the same procedures, general guidelines and themes applied to works to be presented in simultaneous sessions. At the time of submission, the preferred format for presentation must be clearly identified.
