Avaliação das repercussões cardiovasculares em ratas adultas virgens e prenhes, descendentes de primeira geração, de ratas com hipertensão gestacional induzida experimentalmente

• Introduction: Preeclampsia is a gestational hypertensive disorder whose etiology is unknown. Objective: Evaluate the cardiovascular repercussions in offspring of rats (Wistar) with experimentally induced  gestational hypertension. Methods: The descendant rats were distributed as follows: Group 1 (n = 6) virgins from normotensive mothers; Group 2 (n = 6) virgins from hypertensive mothers; Group 3 (n = 6) pregnant from normotensive mothers and Group 4 (n = 6) pregnant from hypertensive mothers (CEUA 7056090420). At 90 days of age, groups 1 and 2 were euthanized, the abdominal aorta was used in vascular reactivity assays (rings with intact E+ and removed E- endothelium), submitted to concentration-response curves to KCL, phenylephrine, acetylcholine and nitroprusside sodium. At 30, 60 and 90 days of age, they were weighed and at 60 and 90 days, blood pressures and heart rates were measured. Groups 3 and 4 were euthanized on the 20th day of pregnancy, the abdominal aorta was used in the vascular reactivity tests. On the 7th, 14th and 20th day of pregnancy they were weighed and the pressures measured. Results: Offspring showed no statistical difference in relation to weights, blood pressure of offspring of hypertensive mothers was statistically high at 60 days of age and at the beginning of pregnancy. In vascular reactivity, statistical differences were found in the KCL E+ (0.87 ± 0.18 group 4 vs 0.36 ± 0.08 group 3), PHE E+ (2.12 ± 0.15 group 2 vs 1.87 ± 0.18 group 1), and logEC50 curves of sodium nitroprusside (6.80 ± 1.27 group 4 vs 3.796 ± 0.86 group 3).  Conclusion: With such partial results we can conclude that gestational hypertension can bring harmful cardiovascular consequences for the offspring such as hypertension and hypersensitivity to vasoconstrictors. The error considered is P. <0.5.
