  One week of MMP-2 administration increased fibrosis in the heart, decreasing the left ventricle area. In the next steps, we will evaluate the effects of MMP-2 with more weeks of treatment and assess the animals' cardiac function. Conclusion:  3,7 ± 0,3, n=7).vs The MMP-2 not changed the left ventricle and septum stiffness but decreased the left ventricle area (0.64 ± 0.04, n=6) compared to control (0.76 ± 0.02, n=6).
