Icebreakers as the First Step to Boost Students’ Confidence in the Classroom
Given all the difficulties that language teachers face in the classroom, I will propose ideas and demonstrate activities to help teachers deliver more engaging and student-centered classes focusing on the use of “Icebreakers.” An “icebreaker” is a language learning activity used to introduce people to each other so that they feel more relaxed together. Participants in this session will practice some basic English and get to know one another in a relaxed, fun environment.
