Reading Is Fun!
In this workshop, teachers are introduced to Extensive Reading and how a small-scale regimen can be incorporated into English Classes. The presentation covers basic explanations and principles of extensive reading and then goes into participatory activities for teachers to introduce and show their students how to enjoy reading in English. Teachers have the chance to experience the activities and ask questions as a lead-up to a discussion of how to implement this type of program to individual classrooms. Getting your students to read and enjoy it might seem too good to be true, but come and see before you decide.
