Natália Albuquerque holds a Bachelor of Biological Sciences; Master and PhD in Animal Behavior/ Experimental Psychology (USP). She is member of the Animal Behavior Society (ABS), of the Brazilian Society of Ethology (SBEt), of the International Primatological Society (IPS) and the Brazilian Society of Psychology (SBP). Her lines of research are especially the mechanisms of social and emotional regulation in animals, in intra and interspecific relationships. She has experience in Animal Cognition and Behavior, Conservation, Cognitive Ethology, Comparative and Experimental Psychology, Animal Communication, Bioacoustics, Bioethics, Animal Rights, Education and in Environmental Education.
João Costa holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Science and PhD in Animal Science. He is Professor Assistant at University of Kentucky, Lexington, United States, the coordinator of the Dairy Science Program research group and Director of the Coldstream Dairy Research Center at the University of Kentucky. He has experience in the area of Animal Science, especially: milk production, precision dairy farming, management and nutrition of cows and calves.
Alan Warren is a Research Protologist in the Department of Life Sciences at the Natural History Museum, London. His main research interests are the systematics and biodiversity of ciliated protists (ciliates), including: (1) morphology and morphogenesis; (2) molecular phylogeny; (3) use as bioindicators of water quality. The main focus of this research is the ciliated marine fauna of coastal waters off China. He is also Vice President of the International Society of Protistologists and President of the British Society for Protist Biology and has played an important role in promoting international academic exchanges in protozoology. In addition, he has served as the Editorial Board of International Journals such as the "Protistology" and the "European Journal of Protistology".
Alexandre Antonelli holds a master's degree and a PhD from the University of Gothenburg. He is a full professor in Systematics and Biodiversity at the University of Gothenburg, Visiting Professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford and Director of Science at the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew. He has experience in the areas of biodiversity, biogeography, conservation, evolution and phylogenetics of Neotropical organisms.
Gustavo Paterno holds a Master`s and PhD in Universidade Federal of Rio Grande do Norte. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Goettingen (Germany) and works on the EFForTS-BEE restoration project. He is a member of the steering committee of the Global Arid Zones Project. He has experience in the areas of plant ecology, restoration ecology, ecosystem function, sex evolution and sexual selection in plants, macro-evolution, diversification and phylogenetic comparative methods.
Tábita Hünemeier she holds a Master`s and PhD in the Universidade Federal of Rio Grande do Sul. She is a professor in the University of São Paulo. She has experience in genetics, focused on human population genetics.
