Guideline for scientific abstracts of the 4th Latin American and Caribbean Forum on Urban Forests
The 4th Latin American and Caribbean Forum on Urban Forests aims at disseminating knowledge about urban green areas, as well as strengthen the debate on technological and social innovations in the field of urban forestry. Furthermore, the event aims to discuss strategies for managing urban forests.
In this sense, the event opens the call for contributions of original and unpublished technical-scientific works aligned to the thematic approaches of the event's structure:
1) Technological innovations in urban forests
2) Social innovations in urban forests
3) Urban forests and the cities of the future
Works submitted to the event must be presented in the format of extended abstracts, observing the following aspects:
All submitted works will be assessed by ad-hoc reviewers indicated by the scientific committee. Corresponding authors will be notified of the reviewers' assessment.
Guide for authors
Manuscripts must have up to 3,000 characters with space, presenting the following sections: abstract (in Portuguese and Spanish or English), both languages with keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and References. The following criteria must be followed:
Title: Must contain a maximum of 15 words.
Font and spacing: Use Arial 12 and 1.5 line spacing.
Abstracts: This item must have between 100 and 150 words, synthetically containing the general theme, research problem, objectives, methods and main conclusions.
Keywords: 03 to 05 keywords.
References: Font Arial size 11, offset 0.75 cm, and single line spacing. Examples:
