61st ABENO Meeting: 70 Years of Commitment to the Quality of Dental Education
It is with great satisfaction that we celebrate the 61st Meeting of the Brazilian Association for Dental Education (ABENO), a historic moment in which we unite memories, transformation, and the future of dental education in Brazil.
In this special year, we are honored to celebrate the 70th anniversary of ABENO — a journey marked by achievements, transformations, and, above all, a steadfast commitment to excellence in the training of Brazilian dentists.
The 61st Meeting of the Brazilian Association for Dental Education (ABENO) will be held from June 30 to July 3, 2026, in person, at the Centro de Convivência of the Federal University of Ceará, in Fortaleza, CE.
THE EVENT PROGRAM IN PDF WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE SOON
The scientific program will take place over four days, as follows:
• June 30 – Pre-event: programming dedicated to Dentistry students and parallel meetings of various entities and groups of professors;
• July 1: conferences, student space, and parallel meetings. The invited speakers include national and international faculty members and researchers, as well as authorities from public health and higher education institutions;
• July 2–3: conferences, round tables, oral presentations – “Circles of Knowledge and Experiences,” “Teaching and Learning Seminar,” “Workshops on Best Practices in Education,” and a digital health poster session.
Since 1956, ABENO has held meetings to discuss key topics related to dental education. In this commemorative edition marking its 70th anniversary, leaders, faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, and health network professionals from various regions of Brazil and abroad will gather to discuss the theme “Memories, Transformation, and the Future of Dental Education.”
The works presented at ABENO will be published in the Proceedings in the ABENO Journal.
