The event “Advances in Computational and Theoretical Physics” will be promoted by the Physics Institute of the Federal University of Alagoas (IF-UFAL). The central focus of this event is to bring together national and international researchers who have notable scientific contributions and have a direct or indirect relationship with the work of IF-UFAL within the context of Theoretical and Computational Physics. IF-UFAL has contributed significantly to several topics related to the central theme of this proposal. This has been reflected both in high-impact scientific production and in the training of specialized human resources. At this event, we will host a meeting of diverse collaborators, students, teachers and IF-UFAL graduates. The event will, however, be open to researchers and students who are interested in the topic and can use the event as a platform to present their work and stay up to date with the latest advances in the area. The duration of the event will be three days dedicated to short lectures on current topics involving Condensed Matter Theory, Statistical Physics and its applications, Atomic and Molecular Physics, and Dynamical Systems. This event aims to: 1) increase the national and international insertion of the IF/UFAL Postgraduate Program in Physics and the other national programs involved; 2) Provide the state of Alagoas and the Federal University of Alagoas with a fruitful academic environment for interaction with national and international researchers who have a strong relationship with local lines of research; 3) Promote new scientific and technological cooperation projects. The event program includes plenary lectures given both by researchers internal to the program and researchers from other national and international institutions. In line with the objectives of the event, we will have oral presentation sessions, where registrants will present work resulting from their projects. In order to encourage scientific insertion and dissemination, we will also have panel sessions for IC students.
