Resumo: Perovskite-based semiconducting systems have demonstrated tremendous
potential for optoelectronic and energy conversion applications. These materials exhibit adjustable band gaps, high optical absorption coefficients, and efficient charge separation properties, making them highly attractive for research in these fields. The structural connectivity and dimensionality of perovskites play a crucial role in enhancing their properties and functionalities. Manipulating the dimensionality of perovskites, such as utilizing 3D, 2D, and 0D structures, offers unique advantages and challenges. This presentation will showcase recent advancements and future prospects in manipulating
the dimensionality of halide perovskites, highlighting their potential for various applications.
