Communicative Reading in Public Schools: Challenges and Strategies
In this session, we will discuss teaching reading in public school English classrooms using the Communicative Approach. The goal is to prepare students to read material essential for daily life activities in the real world. In order to accomplish this, we will provide theoretical background followed by a demonstration of some activities developed in our classes. The session will conclude with a reflective discussion.
