The discussion about Entrepreneurial Universities is urgent. Its role in economic and social development is increasingly relevant as it contributes greatly to the innovation of products and services in the public and private sectors. The University-Company-Government-Civil Society quadrinomial needs to be strengthened and operationalized so that entrepreneurship permeates all layers of society in all sectors of the economy. The 1st International Congress on Entrepreneurial Universities aims to fill a long-standing gap in Brazil. With the participation of renowned international and Brazilian academics and practitioners, the central aspects of the relations between Entrepreneurial Universities and the various Ecosystems will be widely discussed and improved, and concrete proposals for a sustainable development that benefits economies and societies of Brazil and the world will be designed.
