Envisioned in the last century, planned in early 2000 and formally founded in 2011, the Brain Institute of UFRN (www.neuro.ufrn.br) aims to become a world-class international research institute dedicated to unveiling the mysteries of brain function.
The House Symposium is the yearly celebration of this adventure when the latest scientific discoveries of its teams of researchers are shared with the community. The symposium’s theme alludes to the endurance of the institute in spite of the political turmoil the country is experiencing.
We look forward to 2019 when the Brain Institute will move to it’s new 5-story tall building on the UFRN campus! Therefore, we would like to invite you all to join us for this year meeting. As with the previous events (http://neuro.ufrn.br/housesymposium2017/), the symposium is an excellent opportunity to connect young and senior investigators, to share experiences and to foster scientific collaborations.
