About the Event

The International Meeting on Dental Research (IMDR) is an initiative of the Graduate Program in Dentistry at the Federal University of Goiás (PPGO/UFG) that promotes academic internationalization by connecting researchers, faculty, and students from multiple countries. Now in its third edition, the event continues to strengthen PPGO/UFG’s global presence by offering direct interaction with renowned international scholars. Previous editions brought together participants from different regions of Brazil and abroad, fostering collaborative networks and expanding international engagement.

This edition features speakers from Europe, North America, and India, aligning with UFG’s institutional strategies and national guidelines that emphasize global cooperation in research. By integrating lectures, roundtables, poster sessions, and networking activities, the IMDR supports evidence-based advancements in dentistry while promoting diversity and inclusion. The event provides valuable international exposure for students—particularly those with limited access to global experiences—and reinforces PPGO/UFG’s position as a national and international reference in dental research.
