Breaking the Glass Ceiling in Medicine

Register now
From 13th to 15th August Every day from 08h00 to 14h00

About the Event

A "glass ceiling" is a metaphor, typically applied to minorities, used to represent an invisible barrier that keeps a given demographic group from rising beyond a certain level in a hierarchy. In medicine, students have to overcome a lot of barries to become great doctors, especially those individuals who belog to minorities. Therefore, we believe that our keynote speakers and sensitization activities can help the participants to prepare themselves for the challenges that await them, as well as to reflect on social, racial, gender, religious and many other differences.

The Brazilian International Congress of Medical Students BRAINCOMS is a life-changing experience for yourself and for your academic life. It is an unique opportunity to learn from amazing internationally renowned keynote speakers, practice your skills at hands-on workshops, build up networks with other medical students from around the world, get in touch with sensitization activities and much more! All this in an engaging atmosphere with smart people, sense of humor, outstanding scientific quality and, why not, great food and social events! This congress has everything to boost your personal and medical development. You can’t spend these 3 days in a better way! Don’t waste this chance, join us!
