The workshop aims to promote the dissemination of knowledge and the exchange of experiences on science of open data among researchers and Brazil and other countries professionals.

In this proposed 7th edition of WDS, the mission of this event is to promote a close collaboration between Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL/DoE/US), the Global Community for Data Sharing (DataCite) and the Big Data Research Group from USP/INPE, that will present a Brazilian cyber-infrastructure to manage observational and modeling data with a particular focus on the atmospheric phenomena to Brazilian scientific/academic in the Amazon.
