Título do Trabalho: System Engineering Approach for the Implementation Project of the Colombian Aerospace Force's (FAC) Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) Laboratory

Resumo: The Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) Laboratory is a critical facility that needs to be implemented in the Space Development Center (SDC) of the Colombian Aerospace Force (FAC) at EMAVI, Cali, Colombia. Currently, the FAC’s AIT Laboratory is in the implantation project. The implementation project will begin immediately, and a system engineering approach for planning, executing, and managing processes related to the life cycle of FAC’s AIT Laboratory was followed. This project aims to facilitate the development and management of AIT activities of space systems with a mass of less than 100 kg while enhancing the technical capabilities of the national workforce needed for the laboratory's management, operation, maintenance, and sustainability. The FAC aims to support the country's gradual autonomy in critical strategic areas, lead the development of space technology capabilities at a national level, and create synergy to promote Colombian space development. Additionally, this project is realizing the FAC's vision for air and space development by 2042.
