Título do Trabalho: Exploring PID Optimization in Buck Converters for Space Applications: Comparing Relay Method and Empirical Approach

Resumo: Multiple PID tuning techniques have been explored in the literature. However, several methods may yield suboptimal outcomes. Hence, the utilization of genetic algorithms can enhance PID controller tuning. This study demonstrates the implementation of such an algorithm to tune a Buck converter for space system applications. Consequently, the optimization problem is assessed considering both a narrower and a broader search space. The results demonstrated that by increasing the search space, a better tuning of the PID controller was achieved.
