 Late Break Abstracts

1. All abstracts welcome!

The UCARE conference is open to abstract submissions by UCARE members and non-members. All abstracts on urticaria and other mast cell-driven diseases are welcome. Abstracts will be evaluated by a review committee. All accepted abstracts will be presented, as a poster or oral presentation, based on author preference and review committee evaluation. Abstracts chosen for poster presentation may be selected for a poster walk.
Please submit novel abstracts as well as abstracts presented at previous meetings (since the Global Urticaria Forum in December of 2021) and abstracts of your papers published in 2023.


2. Please observe the following rules.

  • Length of abstract: max. 300 words
  • Length of title: max. 10 words
  • Language: English
  • Please do not include any figures or tables.
  • Please indicate if you want your presentation to be a talk (6 minutes + 3 minutes Q & A) or a poster.
  • Please add the names, affiliations and addresses of all authors and co-authors.


3. Abstract categories

Please categorize your abstract into one of the following topics:

  1. Chronic Urticaria - Pathogenesis
  2. Chronic Urticaria - Biomarkers
  3. Chronic Urticaria - Clinical Trials and Studies
  4. Chronic Urticaria - Differential Diagnoses
  5. Chronic Urticaria - Treatment
  6. Chronic Urticaria - Predictors of the Course of Disease
  7. Chronic Urticaria - Predictors of Response to Therapy
  8. Recurrent Angioedema
  9. Urticaria - Everything that does not fit the above categories

Make sure that your submission meets all points of the checklist given above.

How to submit an abstract

- To submit an abstract, it is necessary for the main author to have a confirmed registration for the Congress.

- The website will be prepared to receive the abstracts through forms. Please read the instructions in this regulation carefully, and only after all doubts have been cleared, submit the abstract.

- The upload of the complete paper will be available after the abstract has been approved.


At the end of the page, you will find the form to be filled out in the following order:


  • Title - Write in lowercase with the initials in uppercase
  • Thematic area (also known as abstract categories)
  • Presentation format (Oral presentation or Poster)
  • Keywords (separated by commas)
  • Abstract
  • Data submission: Title + Full name of the Author and Co-author(s) without abbreviations + Institution
  • Author's information (Name and Email)
  • Speaker

Registration Confirmation Email

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during the registration process after the submission of your abstract is completed. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your email's Spam and Junk folders or contact the Secretariat (


Personal Information Protection

Personal information collected during abstract submission will be used for inquiries and notifications from the Secretariat and for the preparation of the abstract book. It will not be used for any purpose other than the operation of the meeting. All registered information will be managed by the Secretariat.
