Possui graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo / Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP/EPM) (2000 - 2005). De 2007 a 2009 realizou a residência médica em Clínica Médica na UNIFESP/EPM. Em 2009 adquiriu Título de Especialista em Clínica Médica pela Sociedade Brasileira de Clínica Médica. De 2009 a 2012 foi residente do programa de Cancerologia Clínica do Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP), da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP). De 2012 a 2016, realizou doutorado em Oncologia pela FMUSP. No ano letivo americano 2012/2013, foi visiting scholar no Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics e residente de ética médica no MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics da Universidade de Chicago/EUA. Atualmente segue suas atividades de pesquisa em oncogenética na FMUSP/ICESP, é oncologista clínico da CLION (Salvador-BA) e fundador/coordenador do Centro de Genética e Prevenção do Câncer do Grupo CAM (Salvador-BA).

He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of São Paulo/Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP / EPM) (2000 - 2005). From 2007 to 2009 he developed his medical residency in Clinical Medicine at UNIFESP/EPM. In 2009, he obtained a specialist degree in Clinical Medicine from the Brazilian Society of Medical Clinic. From 2009 to 2012 he was a resident of the Clinical Cancer Program of the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP), from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). From 2012 to 2016, he developed his PhD in Oncology from FMUSP. In 2012/2013, he was a visiting scholar at the Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics and a resident of medical ethics at the University of Chicago/MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. He is currently a researcher on oncogenetics at FMUSP/ICESP, clinical oncologist at CLION (Salvador-BA) and founder/coordinator of the Center for Genetics and Cancer Prevention at Grupo CAM (Salvador-BA).
