Graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Pará (1992), mestrado em Patologia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Campus de Botucatu (1997) e doutorado em Medicina Tropical pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2007). Atualmente é professora adjunto I de Patologia Básica e Anatomia Patológica da Faculdade de Medicina (FM) e Pós-graduação em Oncologia e Ciências Médicas do Núcleo de Pesquisas em Oncologia da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Anatomia Patológica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: diagnóstico histopatológico e imuno-histoquímico, patogenia, câncer gástrico, hepatites virais e outras doenças infecciosas.

Gratuated in Medicine from the Federal University of Pará (1992). Master's degree in Pathology from the State University Paulista Botucatu Campus (1997) and PhD in Tropical Medicine from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2007). Currently, she is an Associate I Professor of basic pathology and pathology anatomy from Faculty of Medicine (FM) and Posgraduate in Oncology and Medical Sciences of the Nucleus of Oncology Research from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). She has experience in the field of Medicine with emphasis on histopathological and immunohistochemical diagnosis, pathogenesis, gastric cancer, viral hepatitis and other infectious diseases.
