The Researcher Track is part of the SENAI CIMATC University Centre's Academic Innovation Program, which is in line with a new undergraduate model that adheres to the professional profile of the 21st century and the new National Curriculum Guidelines for Undergraduate Engineering and Architecture and Urban Planning, consolidating a generation of engineers and architects and urban planners trained through training paths structured along the following lines: researcher, entrepreneur and technical-manager.

The Research Track aims to develop researchers and scientists with a strong investigative spirit, in a structured training program that will prepare students for the best research centers and Stricto Sensu postgraduate programs in the world.

Before opting for the Researcher Track, students have the opportunity to experience the area of research through the Researcher Challenge, which is a curricular component of the SENAI CIMATEC University Center's undergraduate courses. In the Researcher Challenge, students develop projects in line with the 2030 Agenda, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
