Ritz Lagoa da Anta Hotel 

Ritz Lagoa da Anta Hotel & SPA is located on Maceió‘s Lagoa da Anta Beach. It offers modern-themed rooms and its own art gallery. Leisure activities include a spa, mini-golf, and a gym. Free WiFi is provided. The hotel has 3 tennis courts, 3 beach tennis courts, and 2 touch tennis/KIDS courts for club students and guests, with additional cost and schedule. Rooms at Ritz Lagoa da Anta are spacious and have tiled floors and themed décor. Each has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms offer canopy beds, others have sea views. The new Le Sururu is now the main restaurant of Ritz Lagoa da Anta Hotel & SPA and serves both French and Brazilian specialties. The dinner menu offers a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Solarium Deck Bar serves exotic cocktails and offers ocean views. Guests can relax at the Ritz Spa with various treatments including Indian Ayurveda massages. Ritz Lagoa also has a large lagoon-style swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a volleyball court. Hotel staff can assist with bicycle and car rental. 

The Maceio/Zumbi dos Palmares International Airport is 18 Km away, a 30-min car drive at night, 1-hour drive during the daytime.

The daily rates for single or double rooms (with sea lateral view) are set to only R$ 550.00 (Brazilian reais), roughly USD 110.00, with amazing daily breakfasts included. 

Other conditions and taxes:

- A 4% tax/per day is charged on all reservations.

- These special daily rates are only valid for the X SLIMP period.

- A daily R$ 3.00 (Brazilian reais) tourism tax could be charged per reservation (although it is not obligatory to pay).

Important advice:

Other hotels can be found nearby and scattered through the shoreline with diverse daily rates, maybe you can find one that is better fitted for you. Just keep in mind that Maceio is a VERY touristy city and hotels tend to be full often. Do not let your reservation to be close to the X SLIMP period as you could have severe problems finding vacant rooms.

SIGHTS AND TOURISM

Maceio is the capital of Alagoas state, in the Northeast region of Brazil. It has 509.5 km², with an estimated 1,025,360 inhabitants. The average annual temperature is 28 °C and in May, the temperatures are commonly between 24 and 30 °C, with rainy periods almost every day. The sea water is warm with an average temperature of 27.5 °C in May. 

Maceio is a city set on a truly beautiful beachfront. Though not well known to most international tourists, it is a booming domestic tourism destination. It is also the gateway to wonderfully idyllic shorelines to the north and south. On the city's beaches, vivid, emerald-hued water laps the powdery sand that is lined with palms and brightly painted rafts. Additionally, Maceio is also known for its delicious cuisine, which features fresh seafood and traditional dishes such as tapioca and carne-de-sol. Visitors should make sure to try some of the local cuisine during their stay.
