REGISTRATION

Online registration (ATTENTION ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON MAY 1st 2023):

    • Online registration will be accepted from May 1st, 2023 to May 26th, 2024 (11:59 PM BRT). After this date, only on-site registrations will be accepted at the SLIMP Secretariat in Maceio.
    • Registration is mandatory for meeting attendance and poster presentation of approved abstracts.
    • Early bird fees will be accepted only until February 29th, 2024 (11:59 PM BRT)
      • Abstract submissions will be accepted from May 1st, 2023 to January 31st, 2024 (11:59 PM BRT). ABSTRACTS CAN STILL BE SENT, BUT ONLY FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS
    • Enter the Online Registration System to generate your bank payment slip. Foreigner participants must pay with a PayPal account.
    • Upon request, registration fee receipt will be provided by the SLIMP secretariat on site (send an E-mail to slimp2024@gmail.com).

    • No refunds are available for any cancellations. Visa Invitation Letters are not refundable.

    • The Congress Organizers must receive the registration amount in full, free from issuing and receiving bank charges. In case of any difference in amount, they will be charged on-site. For bank instructions, please contact the General Secretariat on site.

ENTRY RECIPROCITY AND VISA

Although many countries do not require a visa when traveling to Brazil, some passport holders need to obtain a visa and others may need to pay an entry reciprocity fee for entry to Brazil (Check here). These fees cannot be paid as part of SLIMP registration. A printed receipt must be shown to your airline company upon check-in and submitted to immigration authorities upon arrival. Do ensure that you check if you need to apply for a visa or pay an entry fee.
