The II International Congress on the common and commons: imagining new democratic practices, will be held ONLINE, on November 16 and 17, 2020, being organized by the common network with support from the Postgraduate Law Program - Master UNESC.

The main objective of the event is to discuss the emerging themes of the "common", the "commons", the "commons", enabling researchers to build theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools to design emancipatory democratic scenarios. Thus, all of these approaches are premised on the insufficiency of the anthropocentric paradigm, individualism, and statism as a return to the complex social / environmental / political problems that need to be addressed in the face of the civilizing crisis we face today. In addition to providing opportunities for the meeting of national and foreign researchers concerned with the problem, providing channels of dialogue and promoting the dissemination of scientific work.

The proposed event aims to offer the diffusion of legal production on the theme among undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, researchers, lawyers, judges, prosecutors and legal professionals in general. It also seeks to promote reflections on the main trends of the themes through lectures, short courses and bibliographical productions in the field of the event's axes, as well as enabling the dialogue and the presential exchange of ideas and critical legal practices among the various states of the country and between the countries of Latin America.
